Red Light Special

Annie is leaving for Amsterdam this summer to study improvisational dance with Katie Duck, who is AWESOME.
www.katieduck.com

However, she is poor and doesn't have enough money to live off of while in Amsterdam.
She would prefer to not become a hooker (you understand, I'm sure, although I think Amsterdam hookers get benefits, unlike anyone in the US restaurant industry).

So she is throwing an evening of dance, music, and more music in order to fundraise!

10 February 2010

Snip-its and Sounds for a snowy Friday!

It's shivering a little bit, but this dance and live music series is alive and kicking!

Fri., Feb. 12th @ 8PM
Mascher Space Co-op
155 Cecil B. Moore Ave.
(take the El to the Berks stop and walk 4 blocks)
directions at http://www.mascherdance.com

It's flipping freezing out, there's snow everywhere, and we haven't been able to get to our jobs this whole week which normally would be nice except now we have no scratch to take our loved one out for valentine's day, or if you're lucky enough to be single, you have no cash to prowl the republican with.

So join us this Friday for a very informal showing of in-progress work, sweet music, and plenty of Lionshead.

Some people presenting work:
Kaleigh Jones
Melissa Putz
Kelly Turner
Annie MacGillivray Wilson

And our house band for the night? None other than
Flat Mary Road!

And the cost? $5 suggested donation to get in, and then if you wanna throw us some cash for the beer, that would be awesome.
ALL PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO THE ARTISTS.

see you there!
